TIRECO WESTLAKE BRAND ANNOUNCES NEW MILEAGE WARRANTY

Gardena, CA – November 6th, 2019 – Tireco, the exclusive U.S. distributor of WESTLAKE passenger and light truck tires, is pleased to announce and all-new Limited Mileage Warranty available on all PCR and LT tires sold in North America. This new enhanced warranty will be effective January 1, 2020 and will include the RP18, SA07, SU318, SL309, and SL369 tread patterns.

This limited mileage warranty will help bolster the continued effort to expand and grow programs for all Westlake products. Up to 40,000 limited mileage warranty will be offered within 5 years from date of installation.

TIRECO’S MILESTAR BRAND FINISHES TOP 5 DURING KING OF THE HAMMERS WEEK

Gardena, CA – February 6, 2019 – Building upon their finish in the King of the Hammers UTV race, MILESTAR, a leader of high value performance tires finishes 5th in the 4WP® Every Man Challenge 4800 Class. Aptly named for being a limited class on a modified King of the Hammers race course, that allows a more affordable way for teams to compete in a race with strict requirements such as a DOT-Approved tires, single-shocks per corner, and solid-axles.

Veteran Ultra4 Rock Racer Mike Johnson and his co-driver Martin Castro started 46th off the line in a field of over 130 race teams. With tenacity and grit working in their favor during the tumultuous race, they clawed through the field to finish in the Top 5. Milestar’s Patagonia M/T mud terrain tire continues to showcase its durability as it competes in some of the harshest and toughest races. Over 130 race teams competed in the Every Man Challenge race with more than half the field failing to cross the finish line. Some racers say, The King of the Hammers race week is not about winning, but about finishing. It is a test of man and machine braving the toughest rock-racing course in North America.

TIRECO’S MILESTAR BRAND FINISHES GRUELING KING OF THE HAMMERS UTV RACE

Gardena, CA – February 4, 2019 – MILESTAR, a leader of high value performance tires is pleased to announce the PATAGONIA SXT UTV tire completing its first-ever professional race. Milestar’s first foray into UTV off-road competition came in the form of arguably the most grueling single-day race in North America. To showcase the toughness of the new Patagonia SXT, Milestar partnered with Savvy Off Road, FOX Shocks, and Dan Fresh Racing, to compete at the 2019 Ultra4 Can Am UTV Race Presented by HCR. Starting in 47th, Dan Fresh plowed his way forward in his Can Am Maverick X3 to finish 12th overall. With only 28 of the starting 112 finishing; it is a testament to this race and the toll it takes on man and machine.

Dan Fresh of Orange County, California; a veteran in off road racing has competed in several classes over his 20-year career; securing four Baja 1000 wins, two SCORE Championships, and the overall victory of the King of The Hammers Everyman Challenge in 2018. For 2019, Fresh partnered with Savvy Off Road to help prepare his Can Am Maverick X3, equipped with 32×10.00R15 Patagonia SXT tires. No stranger to harsh desert, rock-racing, Savvy Off Road has eight class wins at King of the Hammers, including six overall victories.

Gardena, CA – October 31, 2018 – MILESTAR, a leader of high value performance tires is pleased to announce the launch of the all-new PATAGONIA SXT tire, engineered specifically for recreational off road vehicles, such as UTVs and Side By Sides. This DOT approved UTV specific tire is developed to conquer extremely harsh terrains such as those found in the Baja California Peninsula of Northwest Mexico.
